| Here’s a fun-filled picture book that displays boys and girls in split-page illustrations. When kids open the heavy board outer cover, they’ll find a smaller, spiral-bound book with split pages attached inside. As they flip the top or bottom half of any page, they can mix and match the top-and-bottom halves of vividly illustrated little girls or boys, dressing them in different costumes. For instance, a junior-size soccer player can be transformed into an astronaut walking in space. A little girl can become a ballerina, or put on a set of knee pads when she goes skating. Attached to the inside board cover of this book is a package holding a dozen different pairs of removable shoe-clad feet, each with magnetic backing to be attached to the bottom of the amusing color illustrations. Kids mix and match children’s faces and tops on half-pages with their lower halves, legs, and shoes. It’s surefire fun for toddlers in the form of a very unusual picture book.
