These are lighthearted stories with happy endings. The minutely detailed pencil-and-watercolor artwork sprinkled throughout the books reveals the unique personalities of the girls and creates a wonderfully serene setting. | The "special gift" is this book and the entire series of Cobble Street Cousins. I am the proud mother of four lovely daughters and what a pleasure to find such a sweetly written book. I have recommended this book to friends with daughters and they have loved it as well. It is hard to find a morally appropriate, light, non-violent book for young girls. Thank you, thank you, thank you! This is the type of book all little girls should grow up on. |
