| In this delightful, colorful book Big Bird and Elmo learn an important lesson about themselves. Big Bird is unhappy because he is too big to do things with his friends, and Elmo is sad because he is too small! In the end both learn a valuable lesson about their respective sizes.
We have a 17 month old, and this has been her favorite book since she was 7 months old. In fact, this book has been to Europe and back because she couldn't part with it.
The author does a wonderful job showing children that regardless of their size, they all have an important contribution to make.
