| This book is cuter than the "Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs" book that goes with the new movie. That book follows a very basic story line, but has few pictures of food falling out of the sky which is what makes the story so funny. In "The Weather Report", the reporter is following the story of the food falling out of the sky, so you still get a basic story line but lots of silly pictures. Plus, it comes with 3-D glasses that (well, obviously) makes the pictures jump out a bit, I assume this is why it costs so much more than the other books. They are the old fashioned cardboard ones with one blue eye and one red one and probably won't last too long with little kids, and certainly not the quality of the plastic glasses and 3-D effects we get in the theater nowadays, but worth it for an unusual and fun story. |
