| We own many of the Busy Baby picture books. Both my children started reading them by 8 months and by 10 months old, will sit and "read" them by themselves. My oldest is 3 and still likes to look at these books on a daily basis.
This, and all of the other Busy Baby books are great. The photos are vibrant and interesting and give you lots to talk about with your baby. I like to point out objects/items and them tell my baby a little bit about them. It gives me something to say to my baby, since I often run out of things to talk about. Research suggests that it's important to speak to your child as many words as possible when they're young to help them learn to speak. I find these books help with that quite a bit. |
