Morris Macmillipede is eight years old and has 42 pairs of legs. And 42 pairs of feet. And 42 pairs of shoes. And Morris has a secret. When Morris went on a school trip to the Royal Insect Ballet, he fell in love with the ballerina Dame Gossamer Spider. Ever since he first laid eyes on her, Morris has wanted to be a ballerina himself. But no one believes he can do it. After all, millipedes aren’t meant to be dancers, they laugh. Morris is determined to try, try, try again, and he might just surprise everyone.
