Rich, intense, full of light - her artwork makes this book. Indeed, this new title that explores some of the major colors of spring (yellow, green, blue, and red) has become my favorite read aloud for teaching color to preschoolers.

| Lisa McCue has illustrated more than 150 books, including the reworking of the beloved Corduroy series (Viking Juvenile). Lisa's art has frequently been selected for exhibition by the Society of Illustrators. She lives in Annapolis, MD, with her husband and two sons. |
