| Obviously the original Olivia books have more of the charm than do these spinoffs, but I still just loved this charming little book. The illustrations are adorable (I totally want a poster of Olivia wearing her lemon costume! Too cute!), and the story was fun. It included jealousy, then common sense, and finally a feeling of togetherness and community. I loved the morals and the non-preachy way they were portrayed, and the way the story played out felt believable and fun.
This is one of my favorite of the spinoff Olivia books. (FYI, I'm 32, no kids, so this review is from a grownup's perspective!) |
