About the Author / 作者介绍:

Darrell Wiskur has enjoyed working as an artist for over 30 years. His illustrations have received awards from the New York Society of Illustrators and his book designs have won print awards. Darrell has illustrated and authored several other books. He and his wife make their home in the Ozark Mountains of northwest Arkansas.

书里面讲一些深海里的一些鱼类、
这本书是博子自己选的，4岁多了，英语启蒙3个月了，对书的选择有主见。其实一开始我是不喜欢这本的，不过借回家他很喜欢翻看，还会编故事说把那个大鲨鱼用炸弹暴炸掉，因为张那么大的嘴巴想吃掉其它小鱼呢。孩子的选择要尊重，这样借回家的书孩子喜欢看大人也开心。

猫猫的复活: 很有趣的书

这本书，我还没有打算给孩子看的时候，他自己发现了。一下就被那个亮亮的东西吸引了，问我怎么会有镜子啊。我让他自己观察，后来看了一会儿说，原来是潜水艇的窗户啊。自己先翻看了一边，然后让我给他讲。我让他自己找找看有几只penguins 开始说是两只，后来又发现一只，原来是3只啊！对于Jellyfish的那副图很感兴趣。问我这是什么。我告诉他就是我们吃的海蜇。顺带着说了Without any bones 儿子说，我们有bone .如果我们没有bone 我们也会像Jellyfish 一样软塌塌地了。说着还做了一个没有骨头的样子。讲完后还让我再读一遍。自己说，这本书真有趣。
