| New Pet by Dan Yaccarino continues the Blast Off Boy and Blorp series begun with First Day on a Strange New Planet. Blast Off Boy doesn't mind having swapped places with Blorp in the Galactic Space Exchange Program except that he misses his dachshund, Scooter. Meanwhile, Scooter continues to hide from Blorp. Each boy finds another pet as a companion with comic results. |

| My boys and I (6 and 8) just loved this very funny book about a boy who lives in outerspace who traded places with a little green alien. The pictures are fun and the my older son loves to read it to his younger brother. We love Blorp and Blast off Boy and will buy the first book, First Day On A Strange Planet as well as the follow up, Big Science Fair. |
