| We bought this book for our 2 1/2 year old daughter about 6 months ago and she fell in love with it. It is her first book about using the potty and she really likes it.
The text is in rhyme and it uses photographs of children and a teddy bear on different styles of potties. I like the photo's better than drawings as it makes it more realistic.
The girl in the story is teaching her teddy bear how to use the potty and if he can do it so can she.
My daughter had this book quickly memorized and 'reads' it to her own stuffed animals. She recognizes that it's ok to have accidents and theres no shame in it.
It's a great book to plant the seeds of using the potty. It also comes with reward stickers for when your child uses the potty. |
