| My child and I give this book 4 "PURPLE" crayons up (4 stars). The book includes exercises in the basic "3 R's"plus puzzles and coloring pages,which are very handy in preparing children for school. Lowly and Huckle help take the preschoolers smoothly through each lesson. My 3yr. old recognized the characters from TV. We both like the book's lesson format, which was different from your general activity books you find in stores. (Usually my preschooler will finish the 30 page books in one sitting.) This book has 128 pages. I only wish there was a note at the bottom of the pages explaining what skills are covered by each lesson. Oh, and perforated pages to make it easier to tear out the assignments. |
