| This is a surprisingly comprehensive book.
I have a child who is an avid fan of natural disasters. This book is right up his alley. In his own words:
"This book is neat because it has cool storms and a lot of pictures. No parts are too scary, and it is interesting to read it. My favorite natural disasters are tornadoes, volcanoes, earthquakes, hurricanes, lightning, and that's all. This book has lightning, tornadoes and hurricanes, but not volcanoes and earthquakes. That's all I want to say."
A great overview book, reading level about second grade. There's a good index, but no glossary. |
