| PreSchool-Grade 1?Lucy, Sam's toddler sister, wants to participate in everything her big brother does, often with unintentionally disastrous results?squashing his sand tunnel, tumbling his block tower, etc. Then Sam begins work on a drawing, and Lucy pitches a fit when she is not allowed to help. However, he cleverly coaxes her into their red wagon, pulls her about until she falls asleep, and completes his picture by himself. The text consists of short, declarative, lively sentences. The rather flat, watercolor and colored-pencil, double-page illustrations are as simple and sweet as the story. | I feel that this book is GREAT! It is good especially if you have a child that has been either the oldest child for awhile or the only child for a while and has new sibling. It shows them that they need attention as well. It shows how a big sister or big brother can also helo out with the little one. I also believe it shows how an older child can cope with a younger one who finds what the older child is doing interesting. I recommend this book to anyone and everyone. It has really helped me out a lot.
