| Shana Corey has written another perfect little book for younger readers (and even adults). There is superb craft in the text and it is filled with great facts (obviously well-researched). The fact that quotes were gleaned right from the study of Obama's numerous speeches makes this book a great teaching tool at any level. The illustrations are vivid and "authentic" looking. I love this little book - and you will too. Look for a wonderful looking couple with two cute little boys in the illustrations - this is the author and her husband and two boys. No page number here - it will be more fun for you to search! Outstanding!!!
Step into Readings are so often so well-written. The structure and style of the Steps 3 and above are usually worth studying for craft and structure - and even researching methods! Great great great stuff! Bravo! |
