| "A Friend in Need" is a Golden Book based on what is possibly the most talked-about story from the Nickelodeon (formerly branded Nick Jr.) series "The Wonder Pets!" In this story, the Wonder Pets face a difficult situation-- "A little puppy / Who wants to pee-pee, But he can't because he's stuck in the house!"
The first thing that anyone needs that's purchasing this book needs to know is that this is a coloring book. It's got a great story inside, but the characters and illustrations are presented in black-and-white to be colored in. One of them is a color-by-numbers and there is also a maze game.
Perhaps the best part of the book is that it comes with two sets of shiny holographic stickers that can be used either with the coloring book or stuck just about anywhere one wants them to. They include several stickers of the various Wonder Pets, both in their capes and in various costumes, as well as the puppy and a few doggy toys. |
