| This book is an oft-forgotten classic children's book by Don Freeman (of "Corduroy" fame). The adorable little girl goes to the library and imagines all sorts of animals joining her. It is an easy read for even the earliest young readers. The illustrations, which feature animals of every kind coming into the library, are vintage 60's-ish renderings, with humorous charm. Great book-- get it while it is still in print! |
