| I like that this book shows different sibling depictions. Some are of a brother and a sister and others are of two sisters. So it's great for any big brother or big sister to be! I also really liked that the activities that the siblings are not stereotypically "girl" activities. The kids are shown playing hide and seek, singing songs in the car, sharing snacks, and of course building sandcastles. The lift-the-flap feature is a nice plus, too. One note I would make: If you are a no t.v. household, this may not appeal to you, as there is one pic of the kids watching t.v. together (and sharing their popcorn). |
