Overview / 简介: |
As the great Edward Lear once said of himself: "How pleasant to know Mr. Lear!" And lucky the child who gets to know Lear and his classic brand of nonsense in this spectacular picture book. In lighthearted, lavish illustrations, Caldecott Honor artist Fred Marcellino makes the most -- and more -- of the fantasy and farce of three of Lear#146;s best tales: "The New Vestments," "The Pelican Chorus," and that perennial favorite "The Owl and the Pussycat." Three splendid picture books in one! |
Foreign Customer Review / 国外客户评价: |
This is a delightful book for young children. The book includes 3 stories with fun pictures for children. My preschool grandson and I have enjoyed reading this book together at LEAST 25 times. The first story, especially, is one that he is eager to read again and again. |
